BIM Specialist / Modeler (Plumbing Systems)

The Role:

As a BIM Specialist at ENG, your main front to cover will be the modelling of different trades (MEP, Architecture, Structure or Utilities), whose extent will depend on the scope of the project (specific zones or entire buildings), and whose quality will go according to the clients’ requirements. Working with just one or many trades simultaneously, as well as the coordination this includes, will ultimately depend on your background and expertise, and the services provided by the team. The aim is to provide solutions that may involve different ways of performing tasks, including process automation. A BIM Specialist fixes the client problems, detecting possible conflicts throughout the initial information review and the modeling and coordination phases, and overall, acting as a more specialized consultant for the client.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience with mechanical systems (HVAC/piping) OR plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with design engineering/BIM projects.
  • Knowledge of Navisworks for model coordination.

 

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in US-based projects

Compensation

Compensation will be in USD, competitive and commensurate with experience.
