The Role 

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Compensation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs that attract and retain talent in a diverse and remote environment. You will be part of the People team to ensure our compensation strategies are competitive and aligned with the company's objectives.

 

Top Job Responsibilities 

  • Compensation Design: Develop and maintain salary structures and incentive programs that are competitive in the market, considering the independent contractor  and employee models. Conduct market analysis to assess the competitiveness of compensation offered to contractors in different regions.
  • Program Management: Administer total compensation programs, including bonuses, Profit Share and other incentives tailored to independent contractors and employees. Ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations in various countries, especially regarding independent contractors. Mainly in LATAM and USA.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Prepare reports and analyses on compensation and benefits trends, with a focus on organizational structure. Evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with others leaders within the People team to align compensation strategies with talent and organizational culture objectives. Provide guidance to leaders on compensation and benefits practices.

 

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a remote and multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of labor and tax regulations in LATAM and the USA, particularly concerning independent contractors.
  • Experience in designing and managing organizational structures.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Advance level in English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and People management software.
