IT Support Specialist (SSR)
Role Summary
The IT Support Specialist plays a key role in delivering high-quality technical support while contributing to technology projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This position balances hands-on end-user support with structured project execution, technology advocacy, and process optimization, ensuring a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment.
General Objectives
- Provide timely and effective technical support to all internal users.
- Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of IT services and infrastructure.
- Participate in and lead technology-related projects aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a technology advocate, identifying opportunities to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Operations
- Provide Level 2 (SSR) technical support for hardware, software, and endpoint-related issues.
- Manage and resolve tickets through the help desk system, ensuring proper prioritization and SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to define, document, and improve support procedures and best practices.
- Deliver user training sessions for new technologies, tools, and software applications.
- Troubleshoot and support Microsoft-based environments (Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure AD).
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft technologies and environments.
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Analytics (required).
- Experience with Azure services, specifically Storage Accounts and Virtual Machines.
- Hands-on experience with backup tools and data protection processes (endpoint, server, or cloud backups).
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS, remote support tools, and infrastructure services (backup, directory services).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) and basic scripting is a plus.
- Experience supporting Autodesk environments is desirable.
Education
- Degree or studies in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Languages
- Advanced English (written, spoken, and reading).
