The Role
We are looking for a Job Captain to lead multidisciplinary modeling teams across complex architectural and engineering projects. This role requires a strong command of BIM software, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive quality and coordination across project stages.As a Job Captain, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring modelers, ensuring adherence to best practices, project standards, and timelines. You will proactively identify missing or conflicting information, manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently, and conduct in-depth Quality Control reviews across assigned disciplines. Your role goes beyond execution—you will influence modeling strategies and ensure seamless collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.The ideal candidate combines advanced modeling capabilities with solid experience overseeing documentation workflows, driving cross-disciplinary coordination, and proactively addressing complex technical challenges. This role calls for a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to lead with confidence and clarity.
Minimum mandatory requirements include:
- An excellent command of English—both spoken and written—is absolutely essential.
- Engineering degree (civil or mechanical).
- +5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks for large-scale MEP projects.
- Skilled in QAQC, with the ability to anticipate issues by leveraging team members’ strengths and weaknesses.
- Strong understanding of project's end-to-end scope, kick-off and set up, requirements, applicable standards, and all related technical documentation.
- Experience managing project budgets, with a strong focus on cost control and alignment with project objectives.
- Experience managing teams of modelers and dealing directly with clients.
- Excellent communicational skills.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with U.S.-based construction projects.
